The shape of sound
Rhythmic Visions, the company behind Arkestra, has always been driven by a simple obsession: what does sound actually look like? What is the shape of a kick drum? The texture of a snare? The visual weight of a sub that fills a room?
That question is why Arkestra exists.
Built by musicians, for musicians
Arkestra is a music visualizer for Mac, but not in the way you might expect. It wasn't designed by motion graphics artists or broadcast engineers. It was built by people who think in tracks, clips, and scenes the same mental model you already use in your DAW.
LFOs, sequencers, an oscilloscope, clip launching, a full mixer all wired to your music. Not a visualizer bolted onto a timeline. A visual instrument with the same depth and intentionality as the tools you already make music with.
It fits how you already work
Arkestra connects directly to your audio, picking up beats, transients, frequencies, and dynamics, and translates them into audio-reactive visuals in real time. It supports Ableton Link, so if Ableton is running, Arkestra is locked to it. No BPM settings, no manual sync.
You can also drop the Echo AUv3 plugin on any Ableton track to feed that audio signal directly into Arkestra. Map your MIDI controller to any visual parameter. Trigger scenes with notes or program change. The integration goes as deep as your setup does.
A performance, not a screensaver
LFOs and sequencers let you program visual movement that follows your arrangement. Your live visuals can build, drop, and evolve exactly as your music does — because you designed them that way.
You're not watching a loop run in the background. You're performing.
