Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Arkestra, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software. These terms apply to all versions of Arkestra including the free tier.
License grant
When you purchase Arkestra Pro, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the software on up to 2 computers that you own or control. The free tier is granted a personal, non-transferable license for personal and commercial use on 1 computer. All 3.x major feature updates are included in the Pro one-time purchase. This is a license to use the software, not a transfer of ownership of the software itself.
Permitted use
You may use Arkestra for personal and commercial purposes including live performances, content creation, social media, broadcast, and client work. You may create and distribute visual content made with Arkestra without restriction. The Echo plugin (AU/VST3) is included and may be used within any compatible DAW.
Prohibited use
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the Arkestra application or your license key. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software. You may not use Arkestra to create content that violates applicable laws or infringes third-party rights.
Arkestra Studio AI
Arkestra Studio AI generates shaders and visual content using AI. You own the output you generate. You are responsible for ensuring any AI-generated content you publish complies with applicable laws. We reserve the right to limit or suspend AI access if misuse is detected. Monthly generation allowances reset on the 1st of each month and do not carry over. Credit top-ups have no expiry.
Rent-to-Own
The Rent-to-Own plan charges $19 per month. You have full Pro access while payments are active. If you cancel, access stops at the end of the current billing period. Your paid months are permanently recorded — you can resume at any time and pick up where you left off. Once you reach 12 cumulative months of payment, you own the license permanently with no further payments required. The 12 months do not need to be consecutive.
Refund policy
We offer a 30-day unconditional refund on all paid purchases including one-time licenses and Rent-to-Own payments. To request a refund, contact us within 30 days of purchase via the contact page. Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days.
Disclaimer of warranties
Arkestra is provided as-is without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Use of the software is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arkestra and its creator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the software. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts, except where mandatory local consumer protection law applies in your jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active customers of material changes by email. Continued use of Arkestra after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
