Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Who we are
Arkestra is a macOS application for real-time audio-visual performance, made by Isak Burström (trading as Arkestra). The website is arkestra.app. For questions about this policy, contact us at the contact page.
What data we collect
When you purchase Arkestra, we collect your name, email address, and payment information processed by Lemon Squeezy (our payment provider). We do not store payment card details ourselves. When you use the website, standard server logs and analytics data (page views, referrer, approximate location, device type) may be collected. When you use Arkestra Studio AI, prompts are sent to our server to generate shaders — we do not store prompts or outputs beyond the current session.
How we use your data
We use your email to deliver your license, send product updates and release notes, and respond to support requests. We use analytics data to understand how the website is used and to improve it. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Third-party services
Lemon Squeezy processes all payments and license management. Their privacy policy is at lemonsqueezy.com. Arkestra Studio AI uses Anthropic Claude via our server — prompts are processed server-side and not stored. Vercel hosts the website and API infrastructure. Analytics may be provided by a third-party tool subject to their own privacy policies.
Data retention
We retain your email and purchase record for as long as your license is active and for a reasonable period after to handle support requests. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us — we will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email. If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact page.
Cookies
The Arkestra website uses cookies for essential site functionality (session management, preferences) and analytics. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify active customers of material changes by email. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated. Continued use of Arkestra after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
